La Società Cooperativa Agripalma in Palma di Montechiaro, in the province of Agrigento, deals in the production, wholesale commercialization and packaging of fruit and vegetable products, in particular peppers, zucchini, striped melons, yellow melons, cantaloupe, artichokes, peas and beans.

The business was started in 2010 by founders, Calogero Scarpello and Giovanni Lombardo. After twenty years of experience in the agricultural and food sector and a long time friendship and passion for farming, Agripalma was inspired and given life. The association would like to celebrate it's tradition of high standards in Sicilian products with a modern perspective thanks to avant guard equipment and the quality standards of different commercialized products in respect to European regulations.

The business,“Agripalma Soc. Coop. Agr. ” started in Palma di Montechiaro in 2010. After the twenty years of experience of its founders in the agricultural food sector, Mr. Scarpello Calogero and Mr.Lombardo Giovanni, gained their experience in the early 90's working at the coop Agropalma. The two, pushed by a brotherly friendship and a common love of the earth felt the desire to create a new company that combines the genuine tradition of Sicilian products and the use of avant-guard equipment in such a way that the different commercialized products be subjected to high standards of quality control in respect to European regulations. D Agripalma Soc. Coop. Agr. was formed from this idea. This dynamic and innovative company follows the commercialized products from production to sale. Maximum attention is imposed to each passage that the product must endure; from seed to fruit, from harvest to its sale. This restoration was preferred from the beginning by the new professionals by which each of their own sons will inherit the great passion of their fathers.
